SEMHAC is made up of a diverse group of individuals with a common goal, to ensure quality HIV medical and supportive services are available to those who are uninsured or underinsured.

On February 23 2018, members and partner organizations were celebrated for the hard work and dedication they put forth to help SEMHAC work towards its goal

Between The Lines published a lovely article in their PrideSource magazine, highlighting the winners of several award categories. To view the article please click HERE

Priority Setting & Resource Allocation Process (8-2017)

The Priority Setting & Resource Allocation (PSRA) process is one of the MOST IMPORTANT federally mandated responsibilities of SEMHAC! This process allows YOU to decide which services should be provided to those infected & affected with HIV in our community as well as decide HOW MUCH MONEY each service category is to receive!

Those in attendance at this year's PSRA process did an AWESOME job! Thank you to MDHHS as well as the Recipient's Office (Detroit Health Department) for providing the decision makers with the necessary data to make informed decisions! And a SPECIAL THANK YOU to the members and guests who dedicated their Friday and/or Saturday, their brain power, and WONDERFUL team work skills to GET THE JOB DONE SUCCESSFULLY!! It was truly a joy to work with all of you!

Next year's PSRA process will take place tentatively in August 2018. Please plan to join us and provide your brain power in helping those who are infected & affected with HIV in our commumity!
