Southeastern Michigan  HIV/AIDS Council 

 

The mission of SEMHAC is to strengthen a coordinated regional response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Southeastern Michigan by involving individuals infected and affected by HIV and community leaders in the public and private sectors:

  • To identify unmet needs;
  • To develop programmatic and funding strategies to meet the gaps in services;
  • To propose a plan to coordinate resources of all available agencies in order to maximize services to improve the quality of life of affected populations;
  • To monitor and report progress within the continuum of care to increase community support and commitment.
